Jira issue creation

Hunters provides you with a Jira issue creation workflow, that allows you to create Jira issues based on corresponding Hunters lead clusters.

The logic behind this workflow is as follows:

  • Trigger - The workflow triggers whenever a cluster is created.
  • Decision - The workflow will check if there is already a JIRA issue associated with the cluster. If so, the workflow ends. If not, it continues to the next step.
  • Information retrieval - The workflow will extract and format the relevant data into a structured table.
  • Data mapping - The workflow will map the extracted information to the Jira case structure.
  • Jira issue creation - Once the information is mapped, the workflow automatically creates a JIRA case, assigning a priority based on the risk level, and using JIRA’s rich text formatting for clarity.
  • Documentation - Finally, the process is completed by adding a comment to the associated cluster in Hunters, including a link to the newly created JIRA case for seamless tracking.

These templates make sure the status of your Jira issues and Hunters leads are constantly synced between the two platforms.

This process is available only for Jira issues that were created using the above mentioned Jira issue creation workflow.
