Collection methods

Hunters supports 3 methods for collecting data into the Hunters platform:



🪝 Webhook/API extraction

This method is a direct connection established between the data source (for example, 1Password, Beyondtrust, Aqua Security, and more) and Hunters using the data source API or webhook.

🚉 Intermediary storage

Other data sources can be connected to Hunters using an intermediary storage product as a log repository. This means that a storage bucket is used as a mediary to store logs from data sources, and then Hunters pulls these logs from there.

Another connection method is the setup of a 3rd party log streaming tool. This process requires setting up the streaming tool on the 3rd party product and then connecting it to Hunters.
