It provides services such as secure web gateways, cloud firewalls, and zero trust network access, helping organizations protect users and data from cyber threats while enabling secure, scalable cloud connectivity. Zscaler Internet Access (**ZIA**) and Zscaler Private Access (**ZPA**) are both part of the Zscaler Zero Trust Exchange platform, but they serve different purposes. **ZIA** secures user access to the **internet and SaaS applications (public applications),** while **ZPA** secures access to **private internal applications (enterprise's internal applications).** Essentially, ZIA is for accessing the public internet and cloud applications, while ZPA is for accessing private applications hosted within an organization's network.
