My connected data source shows an "AUTHENTICATION_FAILED" error
🤔 Problem
If your data source was ingesting data correctly, and suddenly stopped with an “AUTHENTICATION_FAILED” error, you might have to refresh your credentials.
🌱 Solution
Some data sources, like Azure, generate credentials or tokens for a limited amount of time that need to be periodically refreshed.
- Open Hunters documentation.
- Search for the required data source and read the integration instructions.
- Perform the required steps to create or renew the credentials on the data source side.
- Open the Hunters portal and click on the 3 dots on the right side of the data source.
- Edit the credentials and test the connection.
- After the connection test is successful, click Save.
If the issue persists, open a ticket to Hunters production services via the support portal.
My connected data source shows an "ACCESS DENIED" error
🤔 Problem
If you’re trying to connect a data source through an S3 bucket and you’re receiving an ACCESS DENIED error, it could be due to incorrect bucket settings.
🌱 Solution
- Open the relevant bucket on AWS.
- Open the bucket’s Permissions tab and scroll down to the Object Ownership section.
- Click Edit and change the policy to ACLs disabled.
If the issue persists, open a ticket to Hunters production services via the support portal.
