# Edit user roles

**To edit user roles:**

1. {{snippet.administration}}
2. Click **Users** and locate the user you want to edit.
3. Click the ellipsis next to the user you want to edit and then click **Edit roles**.

4. From the **Select role** list, select the role you want to assign to the user, and then click **Update**.
