Define an MFA policy

This capability is available only for users with Customer Admin role.

Setting up a multi-factor authentication policy will affect all Hunters users. You can choose from the following policies:

  • Don't force - this requirement means that MFA is optional. Hunters users can choose whether to enable MFA for their account.
  • Force - all users will be forced to authenticate with MFA. When they create their account, they will be required to set up an MFA method. Users will not be able to override this decision.
  • Force except enterprise SSO - all users will be forced to authenticate with MFA except for users who log in with enterprise SSO (SAML and OIDC using external identity providers).

To define an MFA policy:

  1. From the platform top bar, click your name and then click Administration.

    The Administration window opens.

  2. From the left side menu, click Security.
  3. Under the General Settings tab, click the edit icon next to the MFA option.
