# About data sources and flows

The Data Flows page is the place to manage and maintain your connected data flows, and to connect new ones. It provides a summary of your connected data flows along with other critical information about each flow.

A data flow is a combination of the data source providing the data (e.g., a specific AWS account), the data type collected (e.g., AWS CloudTrail), and the collection method defined (e.g., AWS S3 Notification). Each data flow is represented in a separate line on the Data Flows page and has a unique ID.

> **Group data flows**
>
> Each data source can be associated with several different flows. For instance, 1Password data source can be associated with a 1Password Audit Events data flow and a 1Password Item Usage Logs data flow.

> To view data flows by their source, switch the Data Flows page to the **Group by Data Source** view. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/5f63f0e0-3c70-4d00-b623-82493be0bde5/Images/Documentation/image(41).png) **Copy data flow ID**

> You can find the data flow ID in the UUID column. Click the ![](https://cdn.document360.io/5f63f0e0-3c70-4d00-b623-82493be0bde5/Images/Documentation/image(69).png) icon to copy the ID.

## Data flow types

There are three types of data flows on the Hunters platform:

![](https://cdn.document360.io/5f63f0e0-3c70-4d00-b623-82493be0bde5/Images/Documentation/Hunters type data flow.png) **Hunters data flows** Hunters data flows are out-of-the-box connections to known intelligence feeds, provided by Hunters as part of the platform. These include, among others, Cisco Umbrella One Million, AWS Public IPs, Azure Public IPs, and more. Learn more about Hunters data sources [here](https://docs.hunters.ai/docs/hunters-data-sources-and-flows).

![](https://cdn.document360.io/5f63f0e0-3c70-4d00-b623-82493be0bde5/Images/Documentation/Third party type data flow.png) **Third-party data flows** These are data flows connected by you, to the data sources used by your organization, which are supported by Hunters. You can see a complete list of those [here](/v1/docs/supported-data-sources).

![](https://cdn.document360.io/5f63f0e0-3c70-4d00-b623-82493be0bde5/Images/Documentation/Custom type data flow.png) **Custom data flows** Custom data flows are connections you set up, bringing data into Hunters from unsupported sources. Read more about those [here](/v1/docs/custom-data-source).
